Sorry for the delayed response on this -- I don't check the Windmill
list every day.
I'm really glad you included the historical context. It's important
information to have when making any kind of large steering decision like
this.
I think the plan seems totally reasonable. Looks like there would be
minimal disruption for end-users.
I'll help with the move in any way I can.
I'd be happy to host an rsync backup as well. Redundancy is pretty
important for any project to maintain its credibility when things go
wrong with hosting -- as they inevitably do.
I would imagine the remaining OSAF crew would be happy to have one less
distraction from their current mission, and will be happy to see
Windmill achieve a degree of independence. It's been "walking up and
down on the branch" -- I think now it's time for it to fly out of the nest.
