I would like to stand aside on this advisory vote.

My concerns are architectural, and play out in the 2+ year timeframe.  I
believe that architecture and environment has more to do with a project's
outcome than intent or the best-laid-plans.  The merge will play out in
hundreds of small ways over time, so I don't think resolution can be
achieved in this thread about what is ultimately prediction of future behavior.

I feel the inability to do something like point a Scooby UI at a remote data
server favors developer workflows over the real-world of deployments/updates
and will be a thorn in the side of admins.  I suspect I'll get treated
pretty darn well as I ask for operational-related enhancements, and there
will be more aggregate Cosmo/Scooby developer time to boot, so the outlook
is rosy, not bleak.
