Need a little bit more information I think.

a) What kind of server are you trying to hit? (Cosmo?)
b) What method in HttpClient is it?
c) Does it EVER return, or hang forever?
d) have you tried doing normal webdav access using a command-line  
client like cadaver?
e) what were you trying to do? Got any sample code?

I recommend also getting on the #scooby or #cosmo channel in IRC  
during PST working hours...
