[pylucene-dev] PyLucene issue on Mac OS 10.5.2, Python 2.5.1, Java 1.5

Hi, am trying to get an application working on Mac OS X which used to  
work on Windows. I am running 10.5.2, am using Python 2.5.1 and Java  
1.5.0_13. I downloaded first the new lucene 2.3 egg with easy_install  
but when I run a simple test I get a bus error. I backed off and  
downloaded the older 2.2 and 2.1 PyLucene packages and get a fault  
also, although it's a little less friendly.

Is there a configuration issue known around either 10.5.2, the version  
of Python or Java I am using?
