There's no Python 2.3.5 in Leopard -- it's just Python 2.5.1.

On my Tiger machine, which does have Python 2.3.5, pyport.h is in
/System/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.3/include/python2.3/pyport.h.
