[pylucene-dev] Rebuilding?

What's required to rebuild here?  I re-ran jcc/jcc/setup.py and then make 
clean; make; make install.  This takes a little while though... is the the 
make clean necessary?  Sorry if this is an obvious question, I'm too young to 
have much experience with makefiles (fortunately, IMO).
