SOLR is interesting indeed.  I found out about it recently, around the time
I decided to switch from Lucene to PyLucene.  However, unless Andi wants to
hack out PySOLR, I probably can't consider it.  :)  I've pretty much
committed to a Python solution, and I will need heavy customization, so the
only thing I'll be using from SOLR for now are ideas.
