[pylucene-dev] weird traceback

I'm getting this when I'm doing a bunch of updates to documents in an  
index:

JavaError: java.io.IOException: Bad file descriptor

The weird thing is I will do about 1000 updates and then start  
getting these failures.

Anyone seen this before with heavy writes?
