[pylucene-dev] debian etch & pylucene

Debian has stabilized on gcc/gcj 4.1.1 for the upcoming
release codenamed "etch". What are the prospects of
PyLucene 2.0 working happily there?

In only vaguely related news, I'm also happy to report that
The Mail Archive (mail-archive.com) is now using PyLucene.
Deployment was fairly painless using the existing version
1.9  Debian packages. I don't really know, but suspect
this may be one of the larger PyLucene deployments
in terms of total document count.
