Yep, i read your post and i will try to follow the steps, but i wanted 
to compile PyLucene with an earlier version of gcc in order to have it 
updated. I have compiled Java Lucene somewhere in my computer...i'm 
going to look for it and use it to compile PyLucene before getting into 
compile gcc.
