[Ietf-calsify] Period values in RDATEs

Hi Folks,

Do any clients out there serialize recurrence rules using RDATEs with
PERIOD value?

I haven't seen any recurrence rules like this in the wild, and allowing
two very different ways to serialize modifications to recurring events
has always struck me as not very helpful for implementors or for people
trying to wrap their heads around icalendar recurrence.

Could we remove PERIOD value RDATEs from rfc2445bis?
