[Ietf-caldav] Going from browser to application

When the same data can be viewed either as a Web page or as data to  
be consumed by an application, there's a general issue over how to  
get the user from one to the other.  Typically it's how you get the  
user from browser to specialized application.  Julian Reschke  
addresses this problem for WebDAV in this document

It uses a new MIME type to prompt the browser to launch an  
appropriate application.  Contrast that with the approach used in  
Apple's iCal, where they created a new scheme for data that's  
actually available via HTTP.

I thought I'd post about this here in case there are reviews of  
Julian's document or thoughts on applicability for calendars.
