Well.

RFC2518bis introduces some incompatible changes compared to RFC2518. 
Some are easy to handle, but at least one is not.

Should CalDAV avoid to build on top of RFC2518bis, both CalDAV clients 
and servers will have to deal with that interoperability issue.

On the other hand, it's not too late to throw that change out, see
