Hi,

The reason for my email is simply this.

I am involved in the formation of a new group, nothing to do with OSAF, 
but I am using Chandler in my work there.

In the process of creating the charter for this other group I reviewed 
your Governance Principles and was particularly taken by the ideas 
there. I used much of the same language, with some changes ( ownership 
became stewardship for instance ), as a Preamble to our charter.

I would like to make sure that the folks here have no problem with my 
doing so.
Currently I do not have any reference back to the OSAF in my preamble, 
although I have let the others on the working group know where I got the 
ideas for this piece of the charter. If you would like I could make some 
note in the footnotes of our charter that the preamble is based on your 
work here.

Thanks much for your time and I'll be looking forward to here from you 
and to becoming more active ( as soon as things lighten up with the 
other project ) to becoming more active with the Chandler project.
