[General] We've been accepted for Google Summer of Code 2007

I just got the news that we've been accepted for Google Summer of  
Code 2007.

The student application process is already underway and closes March  
24, 2007 (they are running a tight ship this year).   The link to  
point prospective students at is: <http://groups.google.com/group/

student-applicants>.  In the mean time expect to see students popping  
up on mailing lists and irc and such.
