Heikki's right, the scaled images don't look good on Windows with either IE
or Firefox (but look fine on OS X with both Safari and Firefox), and also I
haven't tried any Linux browsers. I'd been capturing some images in Windows,
but doing all my page formatting and QA on the Mac so didn't notice this
problem.
I'll go back and fix those by reformatting the page layout to make room for
a larger image, cropping the image, or if necessary using a large thumbnail
the user can click to enlarge to full size.

We should also provide a version where everything is on one page.

I broke the doc into multiple pages to start with in order to make it the
creation process of organizing, laying out, assembling the images and
editing easier. After it's finished we could make a single html page, though
it might take a long time to load with all the images. But we could also
make a single pdf doc with active hyperlinks. That might satisfy the
navigation, searching, and printing requirements.
