Highlights from the meetings:

+ We reviewed the budget for 2006/2007.

+ OSAF's board hasn't met recently. We want to hold a meeting by the end
of the year. We'd like the board to be more engaged with OSAF.

+ Sheila pointed out we'll need discipline to hit our Preview goals.
We'll cut features that we can't realistically deliver in the Preview
time frame, and make those cuts as soon as possible. We'll focus on
prioritized bugs and let go of pet projects. We're entering a new phase
of the project for Chandler desktop; less time on new features and more
time on stability, performance, and polish. The Cosmo project is
prioritizing support for the hosted service and Chandler users, as well
as a functional set of features for casual collaborators in the Cosmo UI.

+ In light of both the budget and our focus on Preview, we made a high
level decision *not* to be sending people to conferences before Preview.
(We may make an exception or two if we have reason). Also, we'll reduce
conference attendance overall in 2007, only sending people if they are
giving a presentation, doing interop testing, or have some other reason
to meet up with people from other projects. Ted and Philippe will work
out a more specific proposal.

+ We set a date for the January sprint: January 8 - 12. We'd like the
week's activities to directly support Preview goals. We'll likely plan
the week closer to the date, when it is more clear what will be a
valuable use of time.

Cheers,
Katie
