Pieter currently maintains the chat schedule:

He could continue to do this and be responsible for sorting out any
conflicts.

Agreed, we could limit ourselves to one scheduled conversation at a
time, and assume that some people will want to participate in different
projects' conversations.

Yes, we've had "guest" hosts: Nick Bastin and Brian Kirsch led a
discussion about wrapping ICU in Python.
I'll amend the proposal to say that any community member could propose
to host a scheduled conversation if they wanted.
