[Dev] Extending 0.5 release

All,

We have decided to extend the 0.5 release in order to fix some 
outstanding blocking bugs that have significant impact on the 0.5 goals 
and usability of the product. During this time, we will be continuing 
to operate in "code freeze mode" and any new bugs will be triaged by 
the bug council and designated a blocker if appropriate. Anyone can 
still nominate bugs as blocking bugs, especially if they have a 
reviewed a fix and the bug impacts the usability/demoability of .5. 
Although we have not closed on a specific release date, we will be 
limiting this extension to a 2-3 week timeframe.
