One reason was a lack of tools used by release engineers especially,
like Bonsai. However, hazmat at objectrealms.net has been working on SVN
Bonsai, and it has almost all of the features I find most useful in
Bonsai. The SVN Bonsai would just need a little cleanup, and packaging
so that we can try running it in our installation and see how it works.
