[Dev] Bug 2484 random crashes

Hello,
I am currently working on a some what difficult to reproduce bug that 
causes Chandler to core dump on macs.
I have been able to generate the core dump consistently by stamping 
items rapidly in quick succession and
think I know what is causing this bug.

If anyone has found another means to cause core dumps please let me 
know as more than one bug may be present.
