[Dev] set branch update: still going with merge thursday morning

I've already checked in the fix to the trunk; I had a few spare cycles 
tonight while waiting for the 2am forecast update.  Some of those unit 
tests still break on the branch, but not for reasons that have anything to 
do with the schema API as far as I can tell.  Which isn't very far, at the 
moment.  :)

I've got to get some sleep now, we're starting shuttering and tarping early 
tomorrow.
