[Dev] what are cosmo and scooby?

i've heard that some folks still aren't sure exactly what 
cosmo is or how work is proceeding on the project. probably 
most folks have the same issues with this new "scooby" project.

hopefully many of you caught my irc office hours last week 
and/or my presentation at the CSG meeting. if not, and you 
still feel in the dark, drop me a line or come see me. we 
can all get together in a conference room, and i'll do my 
best to answer your questions.

i would like to let everybody know that sheila and i are 
working on a a set of wiki pages to help figure out and then 
explain what our goals are for both cosmo and scooby, to 
give some insight into the planning process, and to provide 
basic information about the software (how to build and run 
it, etc). we hope to have lots of info up on the wiki by the 
end of the week.

also remember that we have a #cosmo channel on irc now, and 
a cosmo at osafoundation.org mailing list. all should feel free 
to ask questions in either of those forums, as well as to 
walk over to my desk :)
