Hi:

Andi and I talked about the best way to copy items from the R/O part of 
the repository to the R/W part of the repository and to copy trees of 
blocks in XML for Donn's detail view use. We concluded to try to use 
cascade copy policy on attributes. The repository doesn't yet support it 
but Andi said he could add it pretty easily. Once it's added we could 
add a copy method on some class which would call repository copy routine 
and could be overridde if necessary. The arguments to the routine would 
be the destination of the copy. It could also be used for Donn's detail 
view.
