When Andy Hertzfeld added jabber-based sharing, this file must have 
been used to describe the preferences dialog (?)

the preferences actually persist properly.

added a preferences dialog, and wired it up to the show preferences 
command.  Added preference section for capturing identity and jabber 
id, which I needed for remote browsing.  It's architected to support 
parcel preferences, but that part isn't finished yet - right now 
there's only a single section.
