[Dev] Descriptive checkin comments

When you check in changes, please make the checkin description 
informative enough so that someone reading the checkin comments can 
figure out what was done, why, and how it fixes things. Also if there is 
a bug number, refer to it in the description. Please do not just say 
"Fixed bug XXXX." While Bonsai makes it easy to click that link to 
Bugzilla, not everyone is using Bugzilla. And if you make a typo with 
the bug number, people have no clue what the change was and why (apart 
from looking at code, and in many cases that can also be really hard to 
understand why the change happened).
