Ted asked me to summarize some of the features mozbot offers. To be
honest it has a *ton* of features (implemented as modules) but I'll
cover the ones I think are of interest to OSAF.
At anytime you can request help from mozbot and it will respond with a
list of modules that are loaded and what keywords are available.
The modules that are currently loaded on the test bot (nicknamed
'opus') are:
Bugzilla - responds to requests about bugs. It will reply to a query
in the form 'bug ####' with the information and status of the bug that
corresponds to that number.
Tinderbox - checks the status of the Tinderbox and returns the result.
All trees can be checked with the 'trees' command or a terse report can
be returned using the command 'qt' (which is synonymous to the 'trees
terse' command.
Infobot - keeps track of factoids and returns them when presented with
a question. To set a factoid, you tell the bot something in a
declarative form: 'apples are fruit' or 'apple is a company'. To find
out about the factoids ask the bot a question: 'what are apples' or
'apples?' - the bot will respond with any factoids that match.
Spell - checks any word that is followed by '(sp)' or '(sp?)' for
spelling.
