[Dev] psyco on the radar?

Has anyone from OSAF looked into using Armin Rigos' specializing 
compiler for Python?  My brief experience with it has been good and the 
reports on c.l.p have been outstanding.

It looks like the project is at a critical stage now.  Support from 
OSAF could mean that very little of Chandler could would need to be 
written in anything but Python.  Of course, a lot more due diligence 
would have to be done, but the potential rewards are so enormous that, 
IMHO, OSAF should at least look into its options with Psyco.
