One of the implications of this is P2P e-mail. I've been banging the "no server no server" drum pretty hard, but I think P2P e-mail is a bit much to ask of Chandler. Of course it should still function if no SMTP and POP servers have been specified, including its P2P functions (chat, data sharing I hope), but I think it's reasonable for it to require an SMTP host to send mail, and a POP host to receive.
