[Dev] why wxPython?

Could anyone justify why Chandler project uses wxPython? What
advantages it gives in comparison with PyQt or it's just a matter
of licensing issues?

I'm looking for the best GUI toolkit for my own project and it would
be nice to hear what you, guys, think about that.
