[Dev] Python Version?

Does anyone have thoughts as to which version of Python Chandler should
be based on / distributed with?

My inclination is to use the version designated as 'Python in a Tie',
currently scheduled to be based on Python 2.2 . Perhaps the OSAF should
join the Python Business Forum (http://www.python-in-business.org/)?
