[Design] [Cosmo] Fwd: [Bug 7894] Events should be marked as DONE
when end-date/times roll by, but not 'Purged' to DONE section

On the Desktop, we'd like to move to a model where event items are
automatically triaged to DONE when they pass in time. This is viable
on the desktop because we can 'hold DONE items' in the NOW section
via the 'Purge' workflow.
We don't have this capability in Chandler Hub today. What would it
take to add it? Should we go ahead and implement auto-triaging events
to DONE on the Desktop even if Hub doesn't support the Purge Workflow?
The down side of doing that is that Hub users might never see certain
items because they'll just fly by.
But, maybe that isn't such a big deal. This scenario (where Hub users
don't see items that get triaged out of NOW) already happens today
when Desktop users manually triage items out of NOW by marking them
as LATER or DONE. So I don't think that implementing auto-triaging to
DONE on the desktop will be much noticed.
