Hi Andre, re-routing to Design list.

I think you've hit the nail on the head. The core value is the
ability to link items together.

What's needed to turn this into a fully-supported feature?

1.The interface needs to express, as in visualize the links that are
being created under the hood.

This means adding the ability to:
+ Group together linked items in Triage Table, at-will. (Similar to
Thread View in Mail clients, but perhaps more useful if you can do it
on a thread-by-thread basis.)
+ Highlight linked items, even when they're not grouped together.

2. Improve the experience for linking items together.

More often than not, you will want to link items *as* you create
them. (e.g. Jot down the 5 thoughts you're having about Project X).
Hence, the discussion with Poojan re: creating groupings of items via
the Notes field: http://lists.osafoundation.org/pipermail/design/2007-
November/007981.html

A different approach might be to tie the appearance of item-linking
affordances to the Task Stamp.

1. Stamp an item as a Task
2. Affordances for creating a linked, group of items appears either
in the Detail View or the Triage Table View.

Nice to have: Ability to drag and drop items between groups to add/
move them.
