[Design] Towards a solution for Items in multiple collections?

Maybe I'm confused, but how is this going to work with anonymous 
(ticket-based) access?  I can see this working if everyone is required 
to have an account on cosmo, but if I access an item with different 
tickets there is no way to determine that I only have RO access to an item.
