That's what I first thought too. I even switched the default to  
search instead of entering items. Later, I learned that I had it  
wrong. The thinking was that entering items is more common than  
searching. So I switched it back to requiring /search.

I think that most people would probably prefer search be the default.  
Quick entry, after all is a shortcut, so even if you never figure out  
how to use it you'll still be able to enter items in Chandler.
