[Design] Dashboard confusing, don't know how to get calendar view

I also don't understand the new model. At least, I'd expect to see all 
my events on a calendar if "Dashboard" and "Calendar" were selected - is 
there a way to see a complete calendar without manually selecting all my 
collections?
