Priscilla asked me to pull together a storyboard sketching out how
Chandler users will share collections with Casual Collaborators.
Please review the mockups on the wiki page and respond with questions
and comments on the list. If we have time, we will review this
storyboard at next week's Design Session, after we go over wireframes
for the Preview Cosmo UI.
High-level Workflow Sketch
1. Chandler user (Helen the Hub) publishes a collection to Cosmo in
Chandler, which returns 2 URL-tickets, 1 for read-write access, a 2nd
for read-only access.
2. Helen emails the URL-tickets to share the collection with others
3. Helen's collaborators receive the URL-ticket in their email
clients and click on the URL to preview it in Cosmo.
+ Depending on which url Helen sent them, they can either view the
collection or edit it as well.
+ At this point, the workflow forks:
3a Helen's collaborator can either log into their Cosmo account
(if they have one); at which point
3b They will have a choice to either Subscribe to the collection,
Not subscribe to the collection, or Cancel the login process;
3c If they choose to log in and subscribe, they will log in and
Cosmo will automatically select the new subscription in the
collection pulldown; OR
4 The Collaborator can click on the Subscribe button
+ Clicking on the Subscribe button takes them to a Subscribe page
where they can choose a client with which to Subscribe to the share
via RSS / Atom.
+ The default is Cosmo --> which then prompts them to either Login; OR
4a Sign up for a Cosmo account; OR
4b If the Collaborator chooses to log in and subscribe, they will
log in and Cosmo will automatically select the new subscription in
the collection pulldown; OR
5. Chandler --> which presents them with the correct Chandler
subscribe URL-ticket and instructions on how to subscribe in
Chandler; OR
6. iCal --> which presents them with the correct iCal subscribe URL-
ticket and instructions on how to subscribe with iCal
