This drives me nuts in Thunderbird when the keyboard focus sometimes gets
stuck in the folder view and I think I'm navigating the messages in the
summary view. Good thing it asks whether I really want to delete my Inbox
when I press the delete key. :-) So for me it's a good thing that the
sidebar doesn't get the focus on clicking. If it has to be navigable by
keyboard as well as mouse, how about having a keyboard shortcut that would
rotate the focus between different panes?
