I've pulled together some very rough sketches for a 'Bare Minimum'  
Proposal for Cosmo UI. My goal is to provide a more concrete view  
into exactly what we will need in order to satisfy the Casual  
Collaborator usage scenarios we've identified for Cosmo in the  
Preview timeframe.

1. Casual Collaborator: Bart the Busy Body/Coordinator manages a  
small working group task list and calendar with Helen the Hub, a  
Chandler desktop user.

2. Casual Collaborator: Ivan the Individual Contributor updates his  
PTO information and task status on a small working group task list  
and calendar, managed by Helen the Hub and Bart the Busy Body/ 
Coordinator.

When I say 'Bare Minimum' proposal, I mean:
+ What can we do with minimal changes to existing UI
+ What can we do with minimal addition of new UI elements
+ How can we address the screen real estate issues introduced by the  
Dashboard (it's too wide!) with minimal impact on the existing UI

This is not to say that what we end up with in Preview will be the  
'Bare Minimum'. These mock-ups are intended as:
+ An aid for planning
+ Concretize what the Detail view will look like once we support more  
than just events

Please take a look and reply with your thoughts on:
+ Are there 'simplifications' I'm making that actually aren't  
simplifying, but more complicated?
+ Questions
