Yes, I have this problem all the time (I had the same problem in iCal).
We already have a different background for "today" -- less pronounced on
the mac. Indeed it is perhaps worthwhile to experiment with other visual
cues.

If we decide the current behavior is the one we want, I'd close it
instead of postponing it and leaving it around -- or change the bug to
"add title", implement that and close it.
