I'd second this. It's not just the desktop performance, though. I got
back from ETech and tried to sync my work calendar and Katie's work
calendar, and it was painfully slow. My Chandler is running under Linux
on an AMD64 3500, which is a very fast machine. I am also on a very
fast DSL connection, so I don't think that the environment (hardware,
network) is the problem.
One other thing that I observed was that after I first setup to dogfood
(create several calendars, import 2 calendars, share 1 calendar),
Chandler's virtual memory image was around 1 Gb of RAM.
Perhaps we also need to be thinking about RAM footprint targets.
