Ok, better late than never...a summary of the discussions from last
week.

New Design Discussions:

Mimi sent out a proposal for some modifications to the markup bar
icons. Andi reported some user feedback that it's hard to tell the
difference between the stamped and active states.

Sheila posted the first draft of the stamping spec.

There were several comments. Grant requested some clarification of
all the various states as they relate to the Communcation column.
Philippe raised some good issues about how shared communications
could be confusing. Next steps are for Mimi and Sheila to update the
spec with some clarifications.

Callum Macdonald posted a thread about giving calendars the ability
to track people and locations, basically giving calendars the
"smarts" to infer certain information.

Sheila posted an update on the Chandler desktop client Alpha3 and
Alpha4 plans. Alpha3 will be a short release focused on performance.
Some Alpha4 work, particularly around the dashboard will start now as
well but won't block Alpha3. A plan specifically for Cosmo Demo and
the hosted service is forthcoming.

Continued Threads:

Discussions continued around the proposal for modifications to the
preview area. Specifically, we discussed ways to allow users to the
preview pane to display more events. One proposal was to allow for as
many events as possible without obscuring anything in the sidebar. We
could have ellipsis (...) to show that there are more that aren't
displayed. Other suggestions were scrollbar or scroll arrows but
there were concerns about these taking up too much space or that they
are too hard to manipulate. Mimi proposed that we have "clickable"
text ie: 2 more events that expands and collapses the preview area.
