for me, yes. i don't speak for pieter ;)
tho to further refine your summary, these categorizations are only
useful to me while i'm processing unread messages. once i've read a
message, the label loses its utility.
i do something very similar with tasks in backpack, btw, but the
categorizations are useful for a longer period of time - until i've
marked a task completed.
i use calendarhub for calendaring at the moment, and while it lets me
tag events and filter the calendar view by a specific tag, i haven't
really found that useful.
