[Design] tasks - easy and fast to create and change

Hi,

I truly believe that tasks and calendar items should be very easy and
fast to create.
That said, I also think they should require minimum mouse actions and
utilize more keyboard strokes.

For example:
to create a new task/calendar item we should have a CTRL+N key.
a task is most of the time just a matter of an end date and setting
one should be a breeze.
today we have to type a time of start and end for each calendar item
and tasks don't even have that.
I understand that I can use the mouse to check both buttons to add a
current item to the task and calendar but I think that should be
easier to do.
Also, the time set is somewhat odd to me that I would have to type in
the AM/PM instead of letting Chandler know when I type 19:30 I mean PM
and when I type 07:30 I mean AM and not let me type the rest.

I hope I'm making sense...
