[Design] Fwd: [Bug 6233] Implement new calendar canvas look

Forwarding to the design list for further discussion.

In Chandler, we're able to specify HSV values to programmatically  
draw the gradient. Given that we're not targeting the Desktop user  
for the Cosmo UI, we probably don't need to be hyper-meticulous about  
matching calendar colors.

We can probably live with a smaller number of colors for Cosmo UI.  
Maybe 3-5?
