Yes, absolutely. We're hoping to provide a Help menu when we the  
product stabilizes a bit more. Right now, we're depending on the  
release notes (read-me's) to clarify issues and providing support to  
early users on the list. So you came to the right place!

Agreed. At this point, we still far from a 1.0. We have set end of Q1  
2007 for a Beta release.

We've anticipated some cognitive problems with the way tasks work and  
are constantly working on refinements to make the visual syntax more  
understandable.

The checkmark icon in the table is not a traditional checkmark.  
Checking and Un-checking an item means you are Adding it and Removing  
it from the Task list.

To mark a Task as DONE or to defer it to LATER, use the Triage status  
column on the extreme right.

This functionality is a bit better exposed in the latest trunk builds  
of Chandler: http://builds.osafoundation.org/
