[Design][Proposal] Lozenge shape

I think the proposal has come a really long way and is looking very  
good.  My only remaining nit is the display of pending status.   
Events with pending status have to my eye too much prominence  
relative to committed events.  I think the visual should somehow be a  
little more subtle and not stand out so much.
