[Design][Proposal] Lozenge shape

Very good questions Jeffrey:

There is a very slight gradient which gets obliterated/flattened when  
I save the photoshop file as a PNG. I've exaggerated the gradient a  
bit so you can see better.

I also made the sidebar selections match.

I also realized a few mistakes: I had made the all-day and 15 minute  
events rounded on both ends. They should remain D-shaped the way they  
are today, so that they can accommodate the event status strip.
