I like it, and I don't think it's that crazy. :-) There have actually 
been a few research papers that explored fisheye views in calendars, 
especially on PDA-type devices. I'm not sure if any made it into actual 
products, but their experiences could come in useful if something like 
it was seriously considered for Chandler:
