I am forwarding a discussion with Rashmi Sinha, an information
architecture specialist and one of the founding principals of Uzanto
Consulting, a user research and interaction design consulting firm
based in Mountain View, CA.

Katie and I worked with Rashmi at the first FLOSS Usability Sprint in
February.

Our collaboration at the sprint led me to rethink and remold a more
nuanced approach to Information Architecture in Chandler, ultimately
resulting in the virtuality presentation I posted to the list a few
weeks ago.
Below, Rashmi is revisiting the distinction between tags and folders
and their relative strengths and weaknesses...and I've posted a
